Get Herdcore
Herdcore keeps a farm's records on the farm's own computer, so it works with no internet at all. It wants an account first. That is where the farm lives, and it is what a copy gets checked against.

Make an account
Use the sign-up page. It needs an internet connection; nothing after that does.

Get a joining code
On your farm's page, ask for a code and write it down. It is short on purpose, so it can be read out down a phone line to whoever is standing at the farm's computer.

Install and type the code in
The code joins that computer to your farm. From then on it works offline and syncs whenever it can reach a network.
The Windows app
Version 1.0.0. Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. It brings everything it needs with it, so there is nothing else to install first. Pictures and documents will take up far more room than the program itself.
Not published yet. The installer is still being put together. Write to [add a contact address] and one will be sent to you.
The phone app
Not built yet. There will be an Android app for the people working away from the office: weighing, dosing and recording where the signal is, and catching up later. It will not be needed for the farm to work.
